HSBC Multi Assets Funds

Designed to help you avoid the amount of time and effort involved in creating your own funds portfolio, HSBC has developed three ready-made Portfolio Funds. These portfolios invest in HSBC's Portfolios and Funds and offer varying risk and return profiles:

Base Currency of the Fund Saudi Riyals
Currency Exposure All major currencies that the Fund invests in
Portfolio Objective To seek medium to long term capital growth with the emphasis on capital preservation & limited exposure to equity markets.
Investment Policy The portfolio manager will allocate capital across Shariah compliant securities such as Murabaha transactions, sukuk & equities either directly, through Mutual Funds or through Discretionary Managed Accounts in order to achieve the portfolio objective.
Asset Allocation Ranges (anticipated) The Defensive portfolio is a low medium risk portfolio that invests a high percentage of capital Murabaha Trade transactions and/or Islamic bonds (Sukuk) & smaller percentage in Shariah compliant equities. Equity exposure not to exceed 30%

Minimum Initial Subscription Amount SAR 5,000

Cut off time for receiving applications/redemptions Before Close of Business at 4:30 PM on Thursday & Monday for Monday & Wednesday valuations, respectively
Price Applicable for Purchase/Redemption of Units If valid application is received prior to the cut off time, then the price applicable thereto shall be the prevailing price on the next valuation day.

Asset Allocation Ranges (anticipated) The Balanced Fund Portfolio aims to achieve capital growth, over the medium to long-term, while limiting exposure to equity markets to a maximum of 55% of its assets, up to 45% of portfolio will be allocated to invest in Trade and Sukuk Funds, Murabaha transaction, in addition up to 10% of the Fund'™s assets will be allocated in other investments that adhere to Shariah criterion approved by the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Fund.
