Mansour Albdulaziz AlBosaily was elected as Chairman of HSBC Saudi Arabia with effect from 1st January 2015.


Mr. AlBosaily has been with HSBC/SABB since 1990 and has held a number of key roles in SABB including General Manager for Legal Affairs and Company Secretary.


In addition, Mr. AlBosaily is a board member in several other renowned companies in Saudi Arabia as well as participating in the respective sub-committees. He has deep knowledge of banking and regulatory matters.


Mr. AlBosaily received his Bachelor’s degree from King Saud University, Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

Majed has been with HSBC/SABB Group since 1992 and was General Manager Retail Banking and Wealth Management of SABB, Head of International at HSBC Middle East (Dubai), Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bahrain.  He has also held senior positions at SABB before moving to Bahrain in 2007. Majed Najm was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia from 1st January 2015 to 31st March 2019. He has been the member of HSBC SA Board since February 2014.


Majed received his Bachelor's degree from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals.

David Dew is a Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia since December 2009. He is also holding the position as Managing Director of Saudi British Bank.


David is representing the foreign partner HSBC Holdings BV with vast management and financial experience gained during his service with HSBC in a number of regions.


David holds Master's degree in Economics.

Georges is Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia since 01 March 2016.


Georges Elhedery is HSBC Group's Group General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East North Africa Turkey (MENAT) region. He is also the Deputy Chairman of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited. He also serves as a Director on the Boards of the Saudi British Bank, HSBC Bank Egypt S.A.E. and HSBC Bank A.S. Turkey.


Before his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer, MENA in July 2016, he was the Head of Global Banking and Markets, MENA. With the addition of Turkey to the MENA region in 2016, Mr. Elhedery's regional responsibilities were extended to cover oversight for this country as well.


Mr. Elhedery joined HSBC in 2005 and has held a number of key roles in the Group's Global Banking and Markets (GBM) operations, including Global Head of Structured Rates, Global Deputy Head of Rates, Head of Global Markets, MENA and Head of Markets and Capital Financing, MENA. Prior to joining HSBC, he has held various senior Global Markets roles in London and Tokyo.


Mr. Elhedery holds a Master's degree in Statistics and Economics from ENSAE University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.

Mr. Alomar is the board member of HSBC Saudi Arabia since 1st January 2015. He joined Saudi British Bank in 1984. He held a number of key positions at Saudi British Bank including Senior Manager Corporate and Institutional Banking, General Manager Internal Audit and General Manager Information Security and Fraud Risk.


Hamad was also a member of SABB Takaful Insurance audit committee, SABB audit committee and chairman of the audit committee of Astra Food Company.


He holds Master’s degree in mathematics from University of California.

Mr. Alshayea is a board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of HSBC Saudi Arabia since 1st January 2015.


He has assumed a number of key positions in Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency including Director of Banking Inspection, General Director of Insurance Supervision and General Director of Finance Companies Supervision during the period from 2004 to 2014.


In addition, He is a board member in several other renowned companies in Saudi Arabia as well as participating in their sub-committees. He has deep knowledge of banking, insurance and regulatory matters.


He received his Master’s degree from University of Illinois in 1998 and holds several professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CFE and CBM.

Sridhar is a Board Member of HSBC Saudi Arabia with effect from 31 October 2016.


Sri is Chief Executive of HSBC Global Asset Management since January 2012, having joined HSBC Asset Management as Global Head of Wholesale in March 2010. Sri also serves as Board Member in HSBC Global Asset Management Limited and Hang Seng Investment Management Limited.


Sri joined the HSBC Group in 1993, and has worked in a variety of roles in India, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. The majority of his career to date has been in Trading, Structuring and Management roles in Global Markets. Prior to his current appointment, Sri was Head of Structured Credit, EMEA for Global Markets.


Sri holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management.

Mr. Khalid Al-Buainain was appointed to the Board of HSBC Saudi Arabia in January 2019 as Independent, Non-Executive Director.


He has proven management expertise and brings a wealth of experience. He has held a number of senior managerial roles in different companies inside and outside of Saudi Arabia including a number of key positions with Saudi Aramco during the period from 1980 to 2015 as Senior Vice President for the Technical Services Business line, Senior Vice President for Engineering, Capital, and Operations Support, Senior Vice President for Downstream Business Line and Senior Vice President for Engineering Services. In addition, he had assumed board memberships in renowned companies inside and outside of Saudi Arabia as well as participating in their sub-committees. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School Executive Program.


He received his Bachelor’s degree from King Fahd University for Petroleum & Minerals in 1980.

Rajiv Shukla was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (Acting) since April 2019. In his current role he is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board and senior management to establish long-term goals, strategies and plans for the Company. He contributes to the strategic and financial objectives of HSBC Saudi Arabia whilst adhering to CMA Standards and adopting international standards as appropriate.


Rajiv joined HSBC Saudi Arabia (HSBC SA) in 2004 and has led the Global Banking and Markets (GBM) business from February 2015 to March 2019. In this capacity, he headed the institutional businesses involved in Investment Banking (across debt and equity, advisory and financing) and Securities Services (including Custody, Fund Services, and Trust/Loans Agency); prior to which he was Head of Investment Banking for HSBC SA from October 2011. Previous roles in HSBC SA were Head of Capital Financing, Director & Head of Debt Capital Markets. Rajiv has 28 years of experience that includes eight years with Citibank in Asia immediately prior to joining HSBC SA.


He holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management.

Abdullah was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of HSBC Saudi Arabia effective 01 March 2018 and in this role he oversees, directs and controls Investment Services Operations, Middle Office, Information Technology, Data & Document Management , Marketing, Corporate Real Estate, Procurement and Change Delivery in-line with the strategic goals of the company.


Abdullah joined HSBC Saudi Arabia in May 2015 and has been most recently the Chief Information Officer, within that role he established an independent Information Technology Department and lead the technological direction of the company to increase efficiency and enhanced customers' experience


Prior to joining HSBC SA, he worked in SABB as Head of HR Transformation and Operations from 2012 to 2015 and before that he worked in NAS Holding as Director IT Infrastructure & Business Development from 2009 until 2012.


Abdullah has more than 14 years of experience in Technology and Transformation. He holds a bachelor degree of Science in Computer Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Waleed has 14 years of experience in the financial industry where he started his career in Saudi Aramco Treasury and then joined HSBC Saudi Arabia’s Asset Management team. He later moved to Jadwa Investment as Vice President in Portfolio Management, and prior to joining HSBC SA Waleed was Director - Head of Equities at NCB Capital.

Waleed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from KFUPM and Masters in Administrative Studies - Financial Economics from Boston University.

Khalid Al Mohamel has an overall 24 years of experience in the Brokerage field and was appointed as Acting Head of Brokerage at HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited in October 2016 and is currently appointed as Head of Brokerage as of March 2017.


In this role he is responsible for leading, directing and managing HSBC's Brokerage execution department activities and ensuring best practice on orders execution across all financial markets along with providing the highest service quality to customers as well as complying with the business’s regulatory requirement, internal policies and HSBC Group standards


In 1993 he started his career with United Saudi Bank as a Brokerage Officer from 1993 to 1999. Khalid also worked in The Saudi British Bank "SABB" as a Brokerage Operations Manager until February 2007, and since he joined HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited he worked in various roles as a Senior Project Manager up to January 2011, Head of Operation in September 2011, and then, Head of Electronic Trading in September 2016.

Faisal Al-Shamrani was appointed Head of Human Resources at HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited (HSBC SA) in August 2015. In this role he is responsible for the direction and management of the Human Resources function of the company.


Prior to joining HSBC SA, he worked for Boeing Saudi Arabia as HR – Business Partner Country Manager, following five years in senior HR roles at BAE Systems and he was the Head of engineering- resources capability and development . Before that, he worked for ten years in training and leadership roles in the Royal Saudi Air Force.


Faisal holds a Bachelor’s degree from King Abdulaziz University. He became a Certified Training Specialist at the Royal Saudi Air Force and is a CIPD Associate member.

Sanka Adikaram was appointed as Senior Manager, Internal Audit in HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited (HSBC SA) in October 2016. The Internal Audit function reports directly to the HSBC SA Audit Committee and his primary role is to provide independent assurance that HSBC SA's risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively.


Sanka has over 10 years of Internal Audit experience and was previously working for HSBC London as an Audit Manager, where he was responsible for executing risked based Internal Audits of Asset Management entities to assess the design and operational effectiveness of the control environment over investment management, regulatory compliance, financial crime compliance, governance, trade surveillance, product development, marketing and distribution.


Sanka holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Business Studies from the University of Warwick – UK, and is a Chartered Accountant holding professional memberships in both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Khaza Chistie was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited in August 2016.


Khaza's key tasks include keeping management aware of the new regulations accounting standards and HSBC best practices, providing strategic direction to senior management and ensuring controls are not compromised with expansion but maintained with adequate staff, increased automation and modern tools.


Prior to joining HSBC SA, Khaza worked in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Saudi Arabia serving as CFO, from 2012 to 2016. Chestie also worked in various roles in HSBC Bank during the period of 1998 & 2012.


Khaza holds a MBA-Finance from Andhra University in India. He also holds professional certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) & Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Faris AlGhannam was appointed as General Manager, Head of Global Banking for Saudi Arabia on 1 April 2019. In this capacity, Faris oversees Investment Banking (across Equity Capital Market, Debt Capital Market, M&A, Advisory and Financing).


Prior to that, Faris was Managing Director, heading Investment Banking Advisory business. Faris' experience includes managing businesses and executing several investment banking transactions in Saudi Arabia and internationally. In addition to his expertise in the Saudi market, Faris’ investment banking experience covers other EMEA emerging markets (GCC countries, Eastern Europe and the CIS countries), having worked for from 2005 to 2009 at ABN AMRO Rothschild in the United Kingdom in the origination and execution of transactions on the London Stock Exchange.


Faris also serves as Independent Director at the Board of a regional pharmaceutical manufacturer and at the board of a Saudi major retailer.

Daniel Lima was appointed as Chief Risk Officer of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited in August 2016. He has responsibility for the identification, assessment, management and monitoring of risk across the Company - including Risk Management, Operational Risk, Credit and Market Risk, Shariah Risk and Security and Fraud Risk.


Daniel Chairs the Monthly Risk Management Committee, is a member of the Internal Compliance Committee, and Wealth Management Oversight Committee and presents updates to the Board Risk and Audit Committees on Risk Management issues.


Daniel comes to HSBC SA with more than 14 years of experience, having served previously as Chief Risk Officer in HSBC United Arab Emirates.


Daniel holds a Master of Science from King's College & University of London. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Zarrar Mirza was appointed Head of Legal & Company Secretary of HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited (HSBC SA) in June 2015, having been Senior Legal Counsel since May 2014. He is responsible for all legal matters for the company, and to drive excellence in Corporate Governance to support delivery of HSBC SA strategy to the expectations of the shareholders and the regulators.


Prior to joining HSBC SA, he was Senior Legal Counsel for Banking and Finance at Samba Financial Group, Saudi Arabia for six years. He has also served in private practice with law firms in Manchester, United Kingdom and Pakistan.


Zarrar is Lifetime Member of Punjab Bar Council, Pakistan, Lahore High Court Bar Council, Pakistan. He holds a Master in International Business Law from University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

Hamad has overall 15 year of experience in various sectors of banking both in Arab National Bank and Saudi British Bank. He joined SABB in 2009.


Hamad has an extensive banking experience and led several roles in Compliance and RBWM . His last role in SABB was Head of Customer Experience where he played a key role in promoting and advancing Customer Experience within SABB.


Hamad holds a Bachelor degree in business administration from King Saud University and an MBA from the University of San Diego, School of Business Administration .

Frederik Michaelsen was appointed as Head of Research in December 2016.


The Head of Research for HSBC Saudi Arabia will be responsible for conducting fundamental analysis with high profile research alongside his team of research analysts. The role will entail spending significant time on client-facing activities.


Frederik comes to HSBC SA with more than 11 years of experience in Emerging Markets (EM) Equities. He joined us from HSBC Bank London where he worked in Emerging Markets Equity Sales. Prior to that, he worked in ING Bank and UBS Investment Bank.


Frederik holds a Masters in Finance (MiF) degree from London Business School  and a Masters in Management from ESCP Europe.

Madhur Bhandari joined HSBC Saudi Arabia (HSBC SA) in 2014 and has led Securities Services business since then.  In his capacity as the Head of the Securities Services business, he is responsible for leading and developing the Direct Custody and Clearing, Fund Services and Issuer Services business lines.


Prior to his current position in HSBC SA, he has done different roles with HSBC Group in Oman, Bahrain and India.


He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and also holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the Rajasthan University in India.
