Introducing the new data privacy laws
The KSA PDPL came into effect on 14 September 2023 and represents a significant change to the way that data is protected in Saudi Arabia.
The PDPL provides individuals with certain rights in relation to how their personal data can be collected, processed and stored, and imposes new obligations on how businesses manage and process personal data and keep it secure.
